The CCNSG Safety Passport will also benefit your company by reducing accident rates and incident related costs and putting a stop to repetitive health and safety inductions.

Course Description


Introduction

The nationally accredited Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) scheme is designed to enable contractors to improve health, safety and environmental awareness. The CCNSG Safety Passport will also benefit your company by reducing accident rates and incident related costs and putting a stop to repetitive health and safety inductions.
By the end of the CCNSG Safety Passport training course, delegates should be able to:

  • explain Health and Safety law and permits to work
  • outline safe working practices relating to scaffolding
  • outline safe working practices for access and exiting
  • describe accident and first aid procedures
  • explain fire precautions and procedures
  • define COSHH and personal protective equipment
  • explain the theories of Manual Handling
  • outline noise procedures and practices
  • define the regulations for work with cranes and heavy equipment
  • outline the excavations procedures and practices

Each training module is assessed through multiple choice question papers with the examination pass mark for each paper set at 80%.

 

All candidates are required to bring two passport size photographs, national insurance number and proof of identity, ideally photographic such as passport or driving licence.
Successful delegates will be provided with a temporary passport or acknowledgement. This is valid for six weeks until the ECITB issue the CCNSG Safety Passport direct to the delegate home address approximately 3 weeks after the end of the course.
